How do I choose coastal lifesaving equipment?

To practise coastal lifesaving safely, it is essential to choose comfortable and suitable equipment:

Inshore lifesaving is practised in a natural environment, and safety is paramount! We recommend that you choose to be supervised by a lifesaving instructor who is trained in inclusion and who will be able to identify the right weather conditions.

You should never do this activity alone: work in pairs or small groups to look after each other.

What is DemocraSea?

Democrasea is a project initiated by Mellow Sea and supported by the Région Nouvelle Aquitaine, whose mission is to make aquatic activities more accessible to everyone, including people with special needs (convalescence, disability, fragile mental health, pregnancy...). Because everyone should be able to enjoy the benefits of the ocean.
