We're proud to announce that our upcycling programme has reached an incredible milestone: thanks to you, over 3 tonnes of towels have been recycled!
To give you an idea, 3 tonnes is :

15 fridges

1 elephant

3 fiat 500
But beyond the impressive figures, this success has a real and positive environmental impact.
By giving a second life to your old towels, together we can help reduce the amount of textile waste that often ends up in landfill or incinerated, processes that generate large quantities of greenhouse gases and harm our environment. Textiles, if not recycled, can take decades to decompose, releasing microfibres and toxic substances into nature.
Reducing textile waste for a more sustainable future
Our programme not only reduces this waste, but also limits the demand for new raw materials. Producing new towels requires considerable resources, such as water, energy and chemicals. By reusing existing materials, we are helping to preserve natural resources and reduce our carbon footprint.
Thanks to your donations and the skills of our sewing workshops, we've transformed these towels into ponchos, covers and pouches. Each piece created is not only unique, but also a way of supporting a more circular and sustainable model.
This project shows that every little bit counts. Together, we're taking another step towards a future where the reuse and recovery of materials becomes the norm, while creating practical, quality products.
Setting a new course
Our aim is to keep up the momentum and collect even more towels for processing. We're now aiming for an ambitious new milestone: 5 tonnes. As part of our progressive approach, we are now collecting neoprene.
Thanks to your contributions, we are able to continue this ecological initiative and create even more eco-responsible products. So let's work together to make this project a success and reach 5 tonnes of recycled towels!
Towels for inclusion
After collection, the towels are sent to a workshop where they are sorted, cut and sewn to be recycled into new products. It should be noted that 80 % of the employees in this workshop are disabled people. The aim of this project is to offer a chance of professional integration to people who are often far from the labour market, while helping to reduce textile waste. In this way, the initiative combines ecology and solidarity, creating a positive environmental and human impact.

We know we're not perfect, but we strive to do better at every opportunity. That's why we've launched this towel upcycling project, to give materials a second life and reduce our ecological impact.
